Dakota Historical Resources is owned and operated by Gretchen Albers, PhD.

Gretchen received her doctorate in history from the University of Calgary in 2012.

Since 2009, she has worked in the area of First Nations land claims and treaty rights, producing historical background narratives and expert witness reports about diverse issues (land surrenders, rights-of-way, fulfilment of treaty promises, etc.) for bands located across Western Canada (MB, SK, AB, BC).

Gretchen harnesses the power of credentialed research associates in order to provide exhaustively detailed, yet readable reports with scanned and ready-to-submit evidence collections.
